Reading about the JDAM/F-35 sales at the same time reading about what they are uncovering at Al-Shifa.

God damn America. I no longer give a single rip about any domestic policy in this evil country. I don’t care about Trump vs Biden; whatever infinitesimally small advantage Biden may have in domestic policy is completely irrelevant. Saying this as an American with kids.

I hope myself, my family, my comrades, and all marginalized people are spared in the future. But the reality is that America deserves hell on earth. There were many good people, working class people who died in the WTC on 9/11; they did not deserve it but America absolutely deserved it. And 9/11 doesn’t even represent a small down payment on what America actually deserves.

Death to America and death to “israel”.

and killed 700 Afghan civilians in 2019 with airstrikes alone

A fun fact people here might enjoy… Americans have been deeply propagandized for decades about the Berlin Wall. My niece just entered high school, and in their section on the Cold War, the only thing they learned about the GDR was “Berlin Wall scary and bad”.

700 civilian deaths from air strikes in Afghanistan in a single year is precisely five times as many people who were killed climbing the wall in total in the four decades of its existence.

You would have been luck building a bridge by the principles of inframaterialism than this.

Japan has experienced a much more recent bout of deflation. It is only now emerging from decades of falling prices that began with the collapse of its property and financial markets in the early 1990s.

I haven’t read it myself yet, but Radhika Desai wrote a paper on how for the last ~25 years, despite all the media reports of how “bad” the Japanese economy has been, the actual material conditions for workers in Japan has been ok (not that they are great, but that things actually haven’t gone bad for them despite all the gloom in the overly broad economic numbers).

I’m not quite sure that’s true. The majority of Americans don’t support what Israel is doing in Gaza right now, but “Israel” as an entity in general does have majority support from Democrat voters and an overwhelming majority support from Republican voters. Death to America.

I actually don’t hate Musk as much as some billionaires, but only because he’s such a dumbass it feels like he’s less dangerous than someone like Robert Mercer.

I’m not a very tech inclined person, I do irrigation for a living.

It sounds like sabotage or anything like that would present very little payoff and high likelihood of something bad happening to you. Seeing as how none of that will even stop this software being used in the genocide, I’m not sure that’s the way to go.

Something to consider… my ex was a reporter for one of local news stations. You’d actually be surprised how easy it can be to get on TV with them. They’re all pretty desperate for content. If you quit and decide to make a public stand about it, a local station might be interested in airing your story (as long as it’s not a Sinclair owned station). I think your story is the kind they want because it’s definitely attention-grabbing and relates to a big story in the news now. If they do, see if they will put your segment on YouTube (they won’t give you your own clip or anything). That way you can post it on your city subreddit or stuff like that to try and signal boost.

I know this all sounds kinda lib, but the grim reality is that this is the imperial war machine and there’s nothing you as a single individual can do (we can only stop through collective action).

All it would take is even just a couple dozen of us.

Based on what you have told us about your coworkers, someone will rat you out to management long before you get to this stage.
