They’ve been clear about why they are doing this and equally clear about the only thing that will stop them is ending the genocide.

What’s amazing is that had Hillary instead gone against any Republican other than Trump (like Rubio or Jeb), she waltzes into an easy win. She boosted literally the only person who could beat her, in the end.

God I wish.
Jacob Flickinger is the American/Canadian (dual citizen) who was working with the WCK who was murdered by the IOF.
If you look at a picture of him, he was a big white dude who looks exactly what chuds think of as an “operator”. He also had a one year old son.
I’ve been wondering if we should try and signal boost Jacob to Americans. I mean, he’s a hero, no doubt. But would your typical white American care more about what’s happening in Gaza if they see a guy like Jacob was murdered? Almost certainly, yes.
It’s awful that that’s the reality, but it is what it is. Feels gross to sort of count on white Americans’ racism, notions of “manliness”, putting parents on a pedestal, etc… but honestly I don’t really care about the ethics of it. I just want the genocide to stop. If that means using a judo move on white Americans’ reactionary views, idk i guess that’s fine so long as it gets the job done. But I am also a white American so if my comrades say I’m in the wrong here I’ll defer and retract.
Idk, I might just file this one under “sometimes a cigar is just a cigar”. Sometimes the religious nuts in deeply religious areas just get the right people in positions of power and do stuff like this.
This is the exact same thing Young Earth Creationists say.
This is maybe damning with faint praise… but most large midwestern cities abut against a river or lake. This means the downtown is not central but rather off kilter from how the city grew. This makes traffic and getting around that much worse.
So while America’s lack of public transportation makes getting around in any city pretty awful, Indianapolis is among the better cities to commute in or get from A to B in a car. Because without any significant natural boundaries, the city has an actual central core and the city grew more or less evenly from there. And Indianapolis is small enough that this expansion hasn’t gotten so large that it takes forever to get from one side of town to the other.
But none of this would be an issue in an actual good country with public transportation and cities designed with even a modicum of foresight.
The Cash for Clunkers program really was the death of the availability of very cheap old cars in the US.
The IOF is attempting to make Gaza unlivable. They want Gazans to move into the Sinai and they know trying to do that at gunpoint won’t work. So make Gaza uninhabitable. Aid workers are a critical part of making Gaza habitable and will be for the foreseeable future, since even if there is a ceasefire tomorrow it will take years to get Gaza back to where it was before 10/7 (which was already in criminally bad shape since the Israelis banned any import of construction materials into Gaza for years now).
Legitimate question: is abortion on the ballot in Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, or Georgia?
Because if not, then it’s entirely irrelevant. Totally irrelevant. As much as everyone talks about voting (or not voting} for Biden or Trump, for the overwhelming majority of Americans who don’t live in a swing state their voting for president is pointless. So unless abortion is on the ballot in swing states it’s a non-factor.
Abortion does motivate people, and that factors into it if it’s on the ballot in swing states. But when you look at presidential candidates you would be hard pressed to find a candidate with as bad of numbers that Biden has inside and outside of his party. Not even LBJ had as bad of numbers and he dropped out of the race because he knew how unpopular he was.
Edit: According to this map, the only swing state where abortion might be on the ballot is Arizona; and Nevada if you count that as a swing state.
