Exactly. I think the path to a free Palestine leads through pressure applied by people and nations not aligned with the US/“israel”. The US was always going to veto this. It shows the world how hollow the claims are that the US makes about “international peace” and “sovereignty”. Which further weakens US influence and soft power, which limits their options in supporting “israel” in the long run, even if just ever so slightly.

It never fails. Western libs will cry about China’s “unfair practices” of simply having state owned enterprises. Any Chinese government involvment is a violation of the sacred free market so tariffs and trade barriers must be applied.
But the second a domestic industry is in trouble, these libs just open up the checkbook for domestic industry. It’s been an issue for decades in agriculture. The EU heavily subsidizes its farmers, preventing cheaper food from the Global South from coming in (and raising their living standards).

Biden's admin has done nothing about trans people being persecuted.
If you’ll notice, for the last 3+ years the only time the Biden admin recognizes trans people it’s either Biden reading some prepared words or whoever runs his twitter account says something very mildly supportive. Nothing ever off the cuff, much less any policies that actually protect trans people.
