Her main concern is that it'll screw over her immediate coworkers to peace out early, which I do understand of course, but also it's by the company's design that they don't have the coverage to adequately cope with the sudden leaving of one employee, and so they're effectively using their other employees as human shields to prevent them from quitting.
So while I have to concede that it's still probably the right thing not to just bail on her coworkers, it feels gross because I know it's playing into a disgusting corporate strategy, and also I just want her to look out for herself this once. I guess that's a little greedy.
