Why Michael Crichton? Just because it's like... "pre-woke"?
Can I get a little feedback from a couple of y'all? I was noodling around with the portraits for a player character in Kor 2 (MOR) last night with my girlfriend and she suggested I give the fem portrait eyeshadow. I think it looks good, but it mildly bothers me because A) We couldn't get it or something of similar detail to look good on the masc character so it feels mildly uneven and B) it always bothers me a tiny bit when adventuring characters wear makeup they'd have to reapply like constantly, but these are just minor pet peeves I guess. What do you guys think?
I want to express that I am overwhelmed by anxiety thanks to not having enough money to have my basic needs met but I'm too overwhelmed by anxiety to think of a clever way to express that without so blatantly coming off like I'm complaining about being poor, so I'm just writing this comment instead.

I'm pretty tired of the toxic mindset of gamers online these days. Don't get me wrong - there's always been vile behavior, and in many ways it used to be worse - but there used to be a pretty sizeable contingent of people within various communities that would consistently push back on people being excessively shitty. Nowadays, that doesn't really happen. It's like everyone who used to push back on it just gave up, and now we all just have to accept that people are going to be shitty, all the time, no matter what.
It could be fixed with better moderation but, that would require hiring moderators.
