I pay $7.99aud/kg for chicken in Australia and it's organic, free range chicken.

There was a farmer growing sustainable heritage breed chicken for up to about $20/kg in my area. He was using the chickens to revegetate waste lands to native forest.

Actually, I throw a great deal more than that out when it comes to food. I grow a lot and on top of what we compost every other edible scrap/leftovers we throw out goes to our poultry to grow eggs and meat.

So it is actually OK to throw out food, as long as you throw it in the right direction.

I spent a few weeks learning the arch installation for my old laptop and it's had the same installation now for about four years. It's awesome and I have only the packages I need, no more, no less.
