I used it until recently thinking the same, but it just became too broken for me. I'm on thunder now and I got it to work exactly the way I used sync and everything seems to actually be working.

My mistake then. It flew completely over my head.
I specifically remember looking up tables of who defederates from who and what instances allow NSFW or downvoting because this was an issue among some of the top instances back then.
I ended up making 4 different accounts over 2 months until I landed on a server I'm happy with. That will never be acceptable to any normal user.
Every time someone brings up these issues, people here downplay them like you are doing it right now and nothing is ever done about it.
What even is this? There's no such thing as meeting KPIs in any agile framework.
And Scrum does allow for long meeting in case of extreme situations but any self respecting team will not take more than 10% of their total time out of a sprint for this.
I moved on to Boost. It's sad but Sync was already too broken.
Many people do not live up to this level of maturity that you seem to expect of them. And many others can't beat the dopamine and quick gratification that tiktok provides. As such, tiktok attracts people of all ages and associating it with kids is, and has been for a while, an outdated view, only held by people who don't actually engage with the platform.
Outdated views and disconnection from present reality is represented by the old man screaming at clouds meme.
This is either a old man yells at clouds situation or gatekeeping masculinity situation depending on the meaning of the word man. Either way a bad take imo.
But next in line and eventual successor was US, taking over as the globe's police and influencer, with the good and the bad.
This time, it looks like the torch will go to China which would probably be better than Russia, but not a great example to follow either.
Same for me. It's like going back to the dark ages.
