I have no stance on them but I do find the people that post from hexbear to be a little irritating. A lot of them leave low quality shitpost with massive images and I know that's a bug but it still ruins it for everyone else.

It's black and blue.

I have actually been using Lemmy a lot more the past few days. I haven't had discussions this good on the internet in years. There's no karma so people don't spam the same jokes over and over again, It's actually really good, well constructed discussion most of the time.

Blizzard and Ubisoft have huge games under their belt that make them a ton of money, Especially with Microsoft now owning blizzard they're not going anywhere. LTT on the other hand relies on sponsors and the community to make most of their money. It's too early to make a conclusion but if these allegations turn out to be true, A lot of sponsors will absolutely pull out and the community would give them even less support than they're getting now which probably won't be financially viable to keep the company around if they get to that point.

All the previous proof put a dent in their brand but these allegations are actually brand destroying. Linus is evidently an asshole to his workers in his videos so I don't have a hard time believing her allegations. What a fucking dumpster fire.

Transferring the communities you subscribed or blocked to your new account. I used lasim, just downloaded the info from my old account and uploaded it to my new one. Only took a few seconds to do.

Sucks for us interested in it but It's completely understandable. Making an account on another instance and transferring your data takes no time at all, which is exactly what I did.

That's understandable. I find them genuinely entertaining, Especially their presentation coverage videos but their long-winded style isn't for everyone. I just prefer in-depth content.

Gamers Nexus and Hardware Unboxed are the only channels I would watch for new PC part reviews. They don't hide or glance over any details for the sake of entertainment and your attention. If I'm spending $700+ on a product I want to know exactly what I'm getting, Not a quick rundown that skips over details that could be potential deal breakers. Glad to see them get the attention they deserve after all this controversy.
