Have fun with [Cheap Trick]

This made me realize how much it would suck to be in Jojo, be one of the like half-percent of the population that gets a Stand, and then have it be [Papa Roach] or something. 60 years of "My Stand, [Down With the Sickness], lets me infect people at will at the cost of permanently having the common cold and a virulent fungal infection . . ." assuming I don't just get killed by one of the Stand users that I am mutually drawn to.

But critically, it's a tiny portion of the population that has a Stand and anyone else dies if they get hit by the arrow, so living there would be like living here but with supernatural mass-death events that I can neither comprehend nor defend from.

Edit: It's Nichijou, btw

I think he's supposed to actually be from Italy, but traveling abroad to develop his culinary style.

pronoun push

I don't want to detract from the main line of discussion here, but I find this to be a weird hangup. It's been a normal thing since at least Facebook's founding for social media sites to list the user's gender. I kind of wish there was a more elegant solution in broadly-understood culture, but I think listing how the user would like to be referred to if you discuss them in the third person is, if anything, far less invasive with labeling than the common alternatives (including not including such information, which produces endless little worthless discursive circles of "actually I'm not a he" from assuming everyone on the internet is a man).

Yeah, it's just a Cold War-era term for sabotage via astroturfed counterrevolution.

Probably? Frenworld was 13/50-style super racist and I haven't seen even a hint of an accusation of Palworld having any of that.

If that was adequate to explain Youtube's decision-making, the platform would be unrecognizably different for all of the terrible things Youtube didn't do because it would be -- and indeed was -- terrible

I think the inverse of the one expressed here, "Transphobic Transhumanism", would be a funny expression of what we already seemed to witness with people's reaction to Cyberpunk 2077. Becoming a cyborg? Sounds good! But no questioning traditional gender roles dictating biology!

It went through a rebranding process based on the feedback of focus groups in light of the SBF and SVB fiascos.

There are various non-classical logics, like dialethic systems, could allow for his statement to be correct by, for example, allowing both A and ~A. You could probably also find some way to prove using a system that limits the transitive property that the "Elon Musk" referred to in the documents is not the person speaking (or in any case cannot be proved to be the same, and therefore his statement cannot be proven false)

But was it useful information?
