Remoraid is still recognizably a Remington (with the context of its name) and Octillary is still recognizably artillery with its weird little barrel mouth.
Palworld would be a thousand times cooler if they used this and things like Mantine's under-wing Remoraid Remington turrets to have a proper interpretation of Pokemon organized militarily rather than for sport combat. Like, little monkeys using pistols and big monsters carrying guns larger than a human can wield is valid, but by itself that doesn't use the material a tenth as well as it could be. Are there even psychic types using telekinesis for their weapons or anything? What about Pokemon physically being weapons like Dragapult uses? Some little Fairy Pokemon handling reloading for you? So much wasted potential.

Genuinely just a clumsy and even-more-extractive version of feudalism. They claim that there is no government, but what are these companies if not competing governments? Just because they are "private" doesn't mean they aren't if we are to say that governments are a sociological phenomenon and not just "a thing some bodies call themselves"
