Always neat to see another fan of CSB/Woolie around. I haven't seen your instance name before, at least that I can remember.

Main one worth sharing is Blowback. The rest are comedy slop.

They surely mean McDonald, Shapiro is so bad it's bizarre. He actually slows down.

It's so disgusting hearing him trot out the discredited "October 7 rape" myth so brazenly when he himself is an unrepentant rapist.

Considering the word "acceptable", I don't think they're talking about, like, removing dogeza or whatever, I think they mean things people find disgusting.

You do what you judge appropriate, but the reason I made the African American comparison is that people usually are only okay with genocide against specific groups (they have a Hitler particle, I guess), so doing the same logic with a group that they don't support the genocide of might help to humanize the demonized group. American-style radlib Bidenists generally are going to see Arabs as insects but have at least a hazy gut reaction against the idea of slaughtering African Americans, so you might be able to get somewhere by comparing those (or other relevant) groups. At least, that's my intuition about it.

Part of solidarity is understanding that smaller groups make up the whole. Indiscriminate violence against a population is something everyone should be concerned about in part because their community is affected by it, including the trans community being affected by trans Palestinians being slaughtered along with everyone else. I think it's usually better to emphasize the next step -- that protecting other groups that will protect you is just as materially in your interest -- but it's not incorrect to charge Israel as the top murderer of many different identities as a consequence of being the top civilian murderer in general.

I know next to nothing about Islam, but even assuming their religious texts endorsed transphobia, why would you then assume every single person adheres to those documents to a tee?

Even assuming they did, does that really mean we should endorse genocide against them? If we did a survey that found that the median African American was transphobic, does that mean we should support the Klan and Thin Blue Line types? No, of course it doesn't! It's just pure racial hatred using superficial progressivism as a shield.

The murder was the result of some kind of psychotic break from reality and he regretted it basically from the moment he regained lucidity until it finally pushed him over the edge. I don't we should take it as a condemnation of his character.

Who would have thought libs would use "concerns over transphobia" as a stalking horse for their own Islamophobia? Just kidding, Reddit atheists have been doing a version of that shit for well over a decade.

This is what happens when you view politics not in terms of education or material conditions but whether you are a Good or Bad person and then make crass, sweeping generalizations on top of it.
