That's just Smash Ultimate. It's bad enough that the (very reactionary) FGC already uses Smash players writ large as a punching bag, don't put that evil on us too, especially after Evo had to be cancelled that one year in large part because the dude running it was a serial groomer abusing his power.
Melee is a very sweaty game, Project M (etc.) only marginally less so, so I accept the stink allegation.
The point is that they didn't, it was a video made by some anonymous internet asshole that they republished uncritically. It's a very uninteresting story.
It's not that Lamarkian evolutionary theory was totally worthless bunkum that Lysenko made up, it was a pre-existing framework that explained some things that "Darwinian"* theory did not, which are now explained by epigenetics
*Things are usually explained by making a dichotomy between Lamark and Darwin, but if you actually read Darwin, you'll find that he also had "Lamarkian" ideas too, like when he wrote in the Origin of Species that lapdogs have floppy ears because of generations of not needing to use those muscles like hunting dogs do, insinuating that it was the not using them itself rather than selection pressure favoring the conservation of resources of those who did so less that produced the heritable trait. A dichotomy between Lamark and Mendel would make more sense.
It's my most crank opinion, but my general feeling is that Lysenko was wrong about a lot of things, especially his positive assertions, but he was much less unreasonable than people make him out to be.

They were being condescending and hyperbolic. It wasn't some uwu smol bean talking about their concern over the cult of personality, problems with the special economic zone, reactionary messaging from state outlets, or any number of other real criticisms that you can easily enough offer and get at least thoughtful replies, if not broad agreement on. It was none of that, it was "radical free-thinker dares to wrongthink against absurd dogma."
Like, I disagree with plenty of hexbears -- I've had you blocked for a long time and had to remove it to reply to your comment here. There's a difference between that and being a patronizing piece of shit over it, so assuming that jackass had something worthwhile to say instead of the same absolute horseshit that 99% of the anglophone world would offer on the topic is silly.

Russia invaded Ukraine, but war is not genocide, as much as the banderite government likes to turn everything into genocide to minimize their history of the original Banderites and other collaborators perpetrating the actual Holocaust.
If Russia wanted to carry out the war in a way that involved genocide, just carpet-bombing cities or things like that, it absolutely could, it has maybe the second or third strongest air force in the world. Luckily for everyone involved (other than perhaps frontline Russians), Russia knows that it shouldn't do that, and so it isn't.
I don't see why you feel the need to so readily call people who disagree with you fascists. I don't think you're a fascist, I just think you're a well-meaning individual who was tricked by the PR of a liberal-fascist alliance. What would make me a fascist? I certainly don't like Russia, I don't have some fantasy of the Eurasian peninsula united under the Russian Federation. I'm not here to tell you that Putin is a good guy, he's a mafioso like you see at the head of most liberal states. I've got no problem with people speaking Ukrainian, though I sure wish they'd find a better national hero than, it must be repeated, a literal perpetrator of the Holocaust, but I also think those weirdos in Russia who worship the pogromist Tsar Nicholas II should get a better idol as well. The closest thing to genocide in Ukraine is the conscription carried out by the banderite government for the meat grinder of an unwinnable war.
I don't think there's a good basis for prioritizing things in that order when there are so many more people in other places than there are here, and that hierarchy can also very easily lead to socdem "got mine" thinking.
