The only 3 people on set during filming who knew about this were Irvin Kershner (the director), George Lucas, and Mark Hamill - obviously James Earl Jones knew, but his lines were recorded separately. David Prowse's line on set was "No, Obi-Wan killed your father" so everyone working on the film assumed it was a completely different spoiler.
