this developer is a big prick. i had an issue (that turned out to be user error after getting help from another source) with the android version of duckstation so went to their discord for support. instead of offering any aid or insight, i was immediately stereotyped as "an android user" and told "we don't offer tech support for android" basically for no other reason than "because android users bitch too much and then give you a bad review," which is just kind of insane imo? there's no downside to bad reviews like you're not going to get delisted? anyways, completely not surprised to hear this from that ass. it genuinely seems like this guy hates developing duckstation at all and i am confused why he bothers. give it up man, sounds like you'll be happier

i am poor myself and am fully aware of the assistance options available in my area. sitting on the corner with a sign is not a good solution to poverty. i will happily pay 10$ for a rose or cup of mango slices, but sitting around and guilt tripping money out of people that are just trying to get to work or focus on the road is not an ethical use of peoples time imo, no matter how poor you are.

not at all? the comment thread started with saying magats will get the brunt of it. then someone said no, migrants would. so i said the migrants voted for Trump anyways. nowhere is there any implication anyone deserves it, unless that's just what you're looking to see

[–] FunnyUsername@lemmy.world 1 points 4 weeks ago (2 children)

didn't the migrant population vote for trump too though

when i see you on the news then you can say you're doing something. until then, you're literally nothing but liberal meal team six annoying your friends and funding the gun lobby industry who checks notes is a big reason we're even in this position.

keep posting your Internet comments, you'll never do anything real. you are the liberal version of Meal Team Six.

you're the coward. haven't seen you on the evening news, yet here you are on the internet on your high horse talking about being brave. put up or shut up cuz you're not brave for BUYING SOMETHING and annoying your friends, you gotta actually fucking do something.

What do you guys think about Walmart+? Service has good value, or just another way a company can suck more money out of consumers while providing the bare minimum of service and quality?

I've been playing the original again and it's the first time since the big backwards update from Below Zero, and for the most part I'm appreciating the improvements. But I'm wondering if anyone has noticed any weirdness with progression now? It's hard for me to tell since playing it after you know everything is so much different, but it really feels like they piled on too many blueprints right around when you get the all purpose circular room. Suddenly I have all these rooms and glass options on top of the normal game progression, and it sort of feels...dirty? Like I got end game content too soon? It's like there's barely anything to unlock anymore and I haven't even made it to the lost river. I think I wish they put a little more thought into the timing of dropping.tvose blueprints, or maybe even hiding them in the game world.

Is there anything you've noticed different in the game that you like playing after the update? That you didn't like? It does run smoother in general so that's nice, way less popping!

Thanks for reading ✌️
