Last I heard about it, the producers declined to cast one of the original star voice actresses for being "too old" even though she could still do the voice perfectly.

The politics on tiktok might be slightly better than other social media, but that's just because it skews young. My problem with it is that it's got dark pattern UI and rapid-fire novelty that makes it really easy to get "hypnotized" into spending more time than you planned to, and that makes it one if the more addictive social media.

Both Liberals and Western Lefties are shocked when they remember that Communist nations also have economies.

But communist governments don't have the circular logic that if the economy is doing well, people are doing well because when people are doing well it's because of the economy (and when people are not doing well, it's in service of the greater good to improve The Economy). And if you won't sacrifice the poor and unemployed on the altar of The Economy, you aren't the adults in the room.

That's a very radical anti-liberal maxim to be in a game if you think about it. Civility in shambles.
