Hey, that sounds really tough. However, I would say that you are more self-aware than any reactionary I've heard from, and that is way better than being a totally unaware one. Also, I think that maybe you aren't as fundamentally bad or broken as you think you are.
I had a similar realization about myself recently, that my C-ptsd and emotional responses to authority make it really hard for me to be in a leadership role of a union or union drive. I wouldn't betray anybody, but it would be hard on me emotionally and burnout would set in quickly.

Update on my "meet boys irl at the gym" plan.
After 3 weeks of meeting people and memorizing names (so many names , I'm actually doing great), I have met a bisexual! Contact has been made! And I have his number!
We talked about politics, and he said he's an anarcho-syndicalist (but he said he used to be an ancap ಠ_ಠ ). But he wasn't put off by the fact that I'm a communist.
Also, there is another guy that wore a shirt that mentioned "butt stuff" and he had on the tightest little pair of shorts ever, so I'm thinking he's probably gay too. Didn't meet him or learn his name, but I'll recognize him when I see him again. He did seem a bit young for me romantically speaking, but maybe he has some tea.
Oh and I met a third guy that's honestly gorgeous, but I have yet to talk to him about anything but the gym. And I have his number too and we texted a bit.
