I mean it's okay if money is tight but for example on fb marketplace and/or Craigslist I got a solid wood piece for $125 and if you go lower in price (below $50) there's still great stuff that's not particleboard.

There is a FOSS true DAW on Linux I tried once. It was decent on its own, but plugin support was ass.
I mean it seems like I'm being warned personally... might wait at least a month to try anything else and if increasing dose I might only go up by .5 g at a time.
Those experiences were neutral in some sense, but if that intensity went on for like 10 minutes plus instead of just 1, it would have been scary.

Soooo I got sleepy and turned the lights out and was on my way to sleep and I had a wild like 45 second hallucination. I was Percieved by some being and buffeted by some kind of solar wind. I didn't look back at it cause I was a little scared and it passed pretty quickly. Then I saw a cool 90s Macintosh themed ui screen/hud (reminds me of a vst ui i was playing with today)? And then the hallucination ended.
I stayed pretty calm thru that but wow it was intense and short.. moral of the story for me is I'm not gonna take shrooms near bedtime because that seemed like a shrooms plus sleep paralysis hallucination combo..
Ymmv but that was a crazy first experience. Also I was scared but not traumatized in any way partially because it was short.
Also 99% of the time it was just chill vibes listening to music and feeling cozy and nice and enjoying the soft textures I surrounded myself with.
It's been an hour now, and nothing undeniably trippy has happened. I definitely feel weird and different, though.

So I'm talking with an old friend who's older than me (about 50) and he strongly is against communism although he calls himself "left wing" which I'm taking to mean progressive + Liberal. Kinda interested in what he has to say since it's based on personal experience, although he's surely very propagandized as all Americans are.
Had to correct him when he claimed China doesn't allow gay people, also gave Cuba as an example of a country that is successfully communist and pro gay and trans rights. He believes in the Uyghur Muslim genocide too, I pointed out that the state department called China's efforts "counter terrorism" in the 2000s.
He suggested I could join the air force band... NGL the money, pension, and healthcare would be great, but I can't be a part of the US war machine even at the periphery. It would make me want to burn myself alive.
