I believe it's because cheerios have some soluble fiber, which is generally known to lower "bad" cholesterol, aka LDL.

Anything with soluble fiber can do that. The mayo clinic link lists a few examples like oatmeal, kidney beans, Brussels sprouts, apples and pears.

It's a Linotype font and they are one of the most widely used suppliers of fonts and typefaces since before computers. It's also been included with Microsoft Word since I was a child, so it's widely available.

Similar to how there is a memetic hatred of Comic Sans (YouTube link), there is a similar one to Papyrus.

And then of course, to freeze-gamer Papyrus was made famous by the character in Undertale by the name Papyrus (whose dialogue boxes use the font).
