Having generators together with the solar panels is completely normal.

From what I understand the trailers were supposed to provide backup power to cell towers, sporting events, etc. Solar can provide small amounts of "free" power but you lose it when it's cloudy or dark. It also can't meet high power demands for when a lot of power is needed. Normally these problems can be offset by having more solar panels and large battery banks, but that's not a good option for a trailer mounted backup system.

A diesel generator can provide a huge amount of power in a comparatively small package, making it a much more reliable power source. You can provide backup power with just a generator (no solar), but you usually can't provide enough backup power with just solar. For example, my local emergency services has a 200kw trailer mounted generator they can use if their main generators are down. A solar system capable of generating that much power would need to be at least 115 sq ft, and would require a ridiculous lot of batteries to make the power available consistently.

Any off-grid set up will usually combine solar and generators, they both have advantages. But a trailer mounted generator can easily be 100s of KW, which isn't a feasible amount of power to have be portable with solar.

Looks great, I've been using Stealth but it has trouble with albums and some other content. It also doesn't let me search for posts in a specific subreddit.

This looks like it will do both of those things, as well as being actively maintained and improved. Thanks for making it.

I agree. I think the way that different terrain changes combat is key, and when combined with the players ability to shape terrain (especially with the driller or engi) has created a system that can constantly feel fresh for combat.

I've put a lot of hours into different coop shooters, but DRG is my most played steam game (675 hours) and still feels fresh.

I agree it's stupid, but it's basically just people living through the success of others. Same thing happens with sports teams, people have "their team" and the team's success/failure can dramatically affect how they feel.

The catch with Libby is that usually all the good books have hold times. This isn't an issue when you've been using Libby for awhile, you put a bunch of books on hold and you reach a point where you always have something available. But it can take weeks/months as a new user to get to that point where you are constantly having waitlisted books coming available.

This was a concern of mine with companies training AI on reddit. Both reddit and AI struggle with confidently providing false info in a way that sounds true, so training AI on reddit seems like it would really compound this issue.

I noticed something similar on websites like Reddit. I've come across an answer for a question on something I'm well educated on, and their answer is definitively wrong but "sounds correct". The reddit community will up vote them, and even down vote people who try correcting them.

But then later on I would come across a post on a topic I don't know, and I'm inclined to believe the answers because they sound right and there's a group consensus backing it up.

The jackbox megapicker issue was apparently corrupting decks bad enough that you had to reinstall SteamOS through a recovery drive to fix it. Thankfully the decky plugin issue is much less serious.

I hope so, but I'm scared to get my hopes up.

Bizarrely it says this was cross-posted to this same community.. However that post seems to be hidden from this community's post list. I don't understand how that happened, but since most of the discussion seems to be happening on that post I would recommend going there to comment.

You're right, but I've heard a lot of other people say the same. I've also played it on both an LCD and OLED deck, and found that different settings both looked better (in my opinion) and had fewer fps drops.

I'd be worried that picking jellyfish might cause you to lose your brain as well. Which would be pretty inconvenient outside of preparing you for a career in politics.
