Hours played on the deck specifically.

Also with the witcher 3, my understanding is one of the heavy performance killers is apparently grass quality. Cryobyte33 has a video on getting it to run well. You can also downgrade to the non-"next gen" version of the game, which still looks pretty good and runs way better. I believe it's listed as one of the beta options in properties.

I have an unused twitch account that I used to watch league of legends on in the mid 2010s. I logged in the other day for the first time in years, and the top stream was titled "NAKED JUMPING JACKS IN SHOWER" and had a nude girl taking a shower. A ton of the other recommendations were the same.

People don't have to search these streams out, whatever recommendation algorithms they use are recommending them to people who have only used twitch to stream games.

Imo twitch is a website for game streaming, there are plenty of other sites for sexual content.

I have no idea if you've played, or even heard of, a GBA series called Golden Sun. It feels a lot like a spiritual successor to it.

Golden Sun was my first real JRPG, and it and its sequel Lost Age were two of my all time favorite games. So hearing you consider it like a spiritual successor is all I need to know, I'll probably love it.

I feel bad for Shadows of Doubt, the innovation award was the only one it was a candidate for and it got blocked by people poking fun at space Skyrim.

How are you liking Sea of Stars? I've heard a lot of praise for it, but I've also heard some people really didn't like it or enjoy the story at all, and I'm trying to figure out which party I would fall into.

Yeah, there's probably something wrong with your button assembly. Your d-pad on the other side is separate and is probably a better example of how things should be.

I want Tetris Effect, but it feels priced too high when I already have so many other copies of Tetris on various platforms.

I've been playing far too many games to give anyone of them the attention it deserves. Currently I'm switching between:

  • Persona 5
  • Void Stranger
  • Hogwart's Legacy
  • Honkai Star Rail
  • Xenotilt/Demon's Tilt

I wouldn't describe any of my LCD or OLED Deck's buttons as loose or rattly. I could maybe see calling them mushy, but that hasn't bothered me any. I would personally prefer "softer" buttons to loud or clicky buttons.

Stuck buttons are definitely a defect, and will be covered under warranty. Extremerate makes a clicky button upgrade kit for the LCD deck, but it doesn't officially support the OLED deck. I've heard the buttons from that kit remind people of clicking a pen as far as feedback goes. If you're really bothered by the feeling of the buttons, you might want to try to get an OLED version of this kit if it's annouced.

Honestly the default controller bindings work really well, I barely changed anything with the setup.

The Starbourne issue sounds like a memory leak, I had the same issue with God of War. It would probably be fixed or mitigated by increasing your swap size (can do it manually or use Cryoutilities) or possibly by lowering the texture quality or other vram using settings.

Also that's some seriously respectable DRG hours, I only have about 600. As much as I love the game, I don't like to play it on Deck, feel too hampered by the lack of a mouse.

Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War are both on my deck backlog, I bought the first one years ago and couldn't get it to run on my computer at the time, and got the second one from a recent bundle.

One of these days I'll finish my installed games and play through them.
