Have you played Murder by the Numbers? I found it's mix of murder mystery/ace attorney with picross to be a really fun combination.

I'm really interested in picking up Last Epoch, but waiting to finish the new Like a Dragon before picking up any more large games.

My understanding is that the game has both online and offline modes, but that the save files aren't transferable so that I would have to stick to online mode if I ever wanted to play with friends. I know you've said you're playing mostly offline mode for now, but have you gotten a chance to see how well online mode handles disconnects from putting the deck to sleep?

I was interested in getting D4, but anytime I put the deck to sleep (which is frequently, I have young kids) it would completely close the game and require relaunching it. After relaunching I would find myself back at the start of my current area, making for a lot of retracing my steps. In comparison, Honkai Star Rail (which is also always online) just makes me wait 30s for the game to reconnect to the server before I can start playing again. I found the short wait for HSR to reconnect was fine, but D4's handling of disconnects completely killed my interest in the game. I'm really curious how Last Epoch handles disconnects and if it's closer to HSR or D4.

Still playing LAD: Infinite Wealth as my primary game.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is also getting a lot of playtime though, probably the most fun I've had with a survivors type game.

It's ethical, the parts will be made whether you work that job or not, and you're only responsible for the actions of the military to the extent that you're able to change them.

Since none of your reasonable options will make an impact on the production or use of those items, it's not a ethical issue for you to work there.

What matters much more is your ability to provide for yourself and those around you.

That's only because the game requires entering text with the on screen keyboard.

Nier is definitely worth playing, but I consider it pretty different from the Witcher

That was the biggest issue with it, that wasn't letting people use remote play at all.

As far as I know other issues with it are still around.

My understanding is that sunshine/moonlight has better quality still.

The built-in steam game streaming has better steam UI integration though, and is available without installing any additional software.

It's not comfortable if you've been sitting there working for the past ~8 hours. I know a lot of people with computer-based jobs prefer playing games in different rooms of the house so that they can do something besides sit in front of their computer.

Unfortunately, it's pretty common for the linux version to have optimization issues and perform worse than the windows version through proton.

It does really highlight what a great job the various proton/wine/dxvk/etc projects have done with running windows games efficiently though.

Not sure why you're being downvoted, I'm pretty sure you're correct.

From reading more about the blocked installs here, most of them have to do with the distance between wind turbines and nearby property lines. Many states are passing laws that the turbine has to be far enough away from property lines that it can't fall onto someone else's property, which seems reasonable. However these restrictions make building turbines difficult and limits what land is viable. Many counties require 1.1x to 1.5x the height of the turbine as a safety distance, which with the typical turbine height of 600' means 660-900 ft radius around the tower that doesn't overlap someone else's property. Some counties have really high distance requirements, that go up to 1320' (a quarter mile) or farther.

The other concern is sound levels, with some counties limiting how loud the turbines can be to nearby properties.

Solar has less restrictions than wind, places with restrictions on it seem to just be limiting the max solar farm size. I'm not sure what the purpose behind that limitation is.

That's true, but another competing AI chip company was recently complaining that they had to meet with clients secretly, because Nvidia would delay the customer's shipments as punishments if they caught them buying from non-Nvidia suppliers.
