You can also use Chromebook chargers, as long as they support the right power spec.

I've been using one for my dock, and it's worked great. I went with the 65w ($15) to have extra power for accessories on the dock, but they also have just a 45w one ($9) that supports the Deck's 15v/3A charge.

Obviously these are more bulky than a standard charger, but it's hard to beat on price.

Glad you enjoyed it, it's had its hooks in me for years now.

Part of the enjoyment for me is that it's possible to get really broken combinations of dice and items. Many early items especially can do crazy things when combined with later items or characters.

For example, on an earlier run today I beat the final boss by generating 912 mana (which left me with over 800 mana after killing him and all his minions). But even when you luck out and get a super broken setup, there's still that element of risk that a series of unlucky rolls can doom you if you're not careful.

It works on Linux, so it's not kernel level (at least on Linux).

Beeper gets a lot of credit, I remember hearing the DoJ was investigating apple over iMessage due to them blocking beeper from supporting iMessage on android.

They're exactly the same, I personally would recommend the phone game because it works well there and will be better than most other phone games.

As far as the arm processor goes, there are a ton of Android handhelds on the market. Obviously an android gaming handheld though is limited compared to something like the steam deck, but ARM processors are a lot more power efficient than x86 processors which is great for handhelds.

There are projects like box86 that are trying to get traditional PC games running on Linux ARM hardware, I'm guessing they'll be the core of what Playtron is working around.

If Playtron contributes to that project, it could actually be really good for the future of Linux. That said I'm worried that nothing will actually come from this project, or that they won't upstream their improvements. I suspect the future of PC's will be ARM or RISC, so any projects that improve ARM backwards compatibility with x86 will be good for the future.

According to other sources, the average windows license for OEMs is about $50. The exact pricing has to do with how "powerful" the PC is, so gaming handhelds probably cost more than $50.

It's interesting playing indie games and seeing how a small or solo team can put out great experiences.

I kinda feel that a better pipeline for triple A games might be to start with small teams making indie scale games, and the ones that play test great can then get the triple A treatment to add art, music, dialog, additional content, etc. Games that fall short can maybe be released as "indie games" (game genre, obviously not indie published).

Thanks for including the game title in your post title. I hate it when articles leave that kind of information out.

That's my understanding. On the other hand, the fun conspiracy theory is that we live in a simulation and stuff like this responds differently when observed because of shortcuts taken in simulating reality.

For sure, all of us who have been waiting to fall in love, get married, and have kids, are now free to do so now that we have better steam library sharing. I know it was the main thing most people have been waiting for.
