It's great to see you guys are active on your Lemmy account again, you always have good content and it's nice to see websites supporting the fediverse.
Hope you get it figured out!
Most AAA console games run at 30fps (with a higher fps performance mode option), which would mean that at least 60%+ of gamers are used to 30fps. Also if you look at the top Deck games of last year, it's filled with games like Baldur's Gate and Starfield that get 30fps at best. So most Deck owners are fine with lower fps rates too.
I think getting 30fps on a handheld is perfectly fine for most people and most games.
I would, but I had my main game hard drive fail on my PC and haven't replaced it yet for some reason. So I'm left with 1.5 TB of game storage on the deck, and only 30GB of game storage on my PC, leaving it mostly as a work only device.
One of these days I'll actually get around to buying a new drive for it, but as it is the deck runs just about everything I want to play.
Hotel's need good ice dispensers so that you can fill a bathtub with ice after removing your tinder date's kidneys.
Did you install the gyro addon for Emudeck? I think that can cause controller issues.
Another thing that might be contributing is that Emudeck can install either the windows build of cemu or the linux build. It might be worth checking which version you're installing through emudeck vs what version retrodeck uses.
I recently swapped out the spiggen protective case for a JSAUX modcase after getting to try-out the feel of someone else's modcase. I had always been envious of the clip on front cover, and the hands on experience showed me that it was a lot more comfortable in the hands than the Spigen case.
I'm still using the original travel case that came with my deck as well, although for the modcase deck to fit inside it I have to remove the front cover and kickstand from the back.
Very weird sounding, I would definitely suggest restarting the deck if you haven't. It's also worth checking controller order in the three dot menu, sometimes after I've had a controller connected my deck controls won't work, and it's that the deck controls are still ranked as the 2nd, 3rd, etc controller even though no other controllers are connected. When this happens I find that most of the deck controls won't work in most games, but randomly some parts will. Changing the deck back to the first controller slot will usually fix it.
Sounds pretty funny actually, I'd enjoy showing someone my deck library and having it all be ms paint.
!steam@lemmy.ml is probably the closest community for it, but we're happy to have you here regardless.
Not really a Steam deck issue, but I know Nintendo does a lot of copyright strikes on Steamgriddb images.
I'm guessing we'll get a shorter lifespan, maybe 4 years.
