This build of the bot is now running full time-ish since testing has gone pretty well. I don't have it configured to automatically restart itself if it crashes or if the server reboots yet. Even though it's running from our testing instance I don't want it to create a situation where it boot loops the server if something new/unexpected comes up. If you happen to notice it's down for an extended time or otherwise acting up please DM me so I can take a look.

I played the crap out of Red. I actually have a physical copy of the game and a restomodded Gameboy Advance SP that get played every so often. The early games really appealed to my tastes and I've never gotten bored with replaying them I guess. The TCG was never really my thing either. I was playing other things during the initial release and run up in popularity. Something about the franchise has always kept it on my radar though. The Pocket edition hits a sweet spot for me where I don't have to learn everything there is to know about the franchise to enjoy playing when I have time. It also scratches the pack opening itch pretty well for a digital game I think.
I stopped playing shortly after Yellow. I came back once for sword and shield but I pretty much stuck to pokemon I knew or whatever was OP along the way. After the originals I don't really know anything about pokemon.
Ah, I guess I completely missed the "baby" pokemon part of this. I stopped playing way before that lol.
Such a weird way to do it though, I don't think there are any other cards that work like this currently. Usually that would be an ability or use energy in this version of the game. I'm sure it has a specific reason for being that way, it's just such a weird thing to see unexpectedly.
