This is a staple food in Norway. The Norwegian variant is made with smoked cod roe.

Think the Swedish variant is some kind of freshwater fish? Can't imagine IKEA will deliver culinary greatness tho'

19 as an army conscript. Never volunteer, never be first, but also never be last. Never let your friends or colleagues do your work tho', always lift your share. Always have your friends back, never trow blame aroud out loud, nd never trust those who are willing to stab others in the back. Lost honor and trust can never be fully regained.

I think its slightly different because you are not forced into the loyalty programs. You can still buy fuel with a card at the pump without registration. With the app you can't use the charger without registration.

See that CircleK has simple cars options on 90% of their stations, and that several others are updating their chargers with card payment option.

This is because someone can't be arsed to make a dedicated Norwegian/Swedish/Danish keyboard. Norway and Denmark uses æ/ø/å. But ofc not the same key position. Sweden ä/ö/å. The same goes for several of the other keys. What they type depends on language used

They mention Norway in the article and it's NOT hard to find a fuel pump. Granted many petrol stations has shut down, but often at least one pump remain. And many stations has rebranded as "energy stations".

What bugs me with the EV market is how you need a fucking app for every fucking vendor when charging on the road (and how Tesla cornered many of the prime spots and tried shut everyone else out)

Filling up with diesel/petrol I just tap my card at the pump and validate with pin. With EV it's apparently "not possible". And many of these vendors dont spend much on their crap software. Its pure lock-in.

Scientific American points to an important fact.

"With our latest surveys, such as the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) and Euclid, by my very rough estimation, we’ve taken pictures of somewhere around 100 million galaxies out of the two trillion or so estimated to exist in the entire observable universe.

Shamir’s paradigm-shattering conclusion relies on 263 of them."

They are discussing bias in the selection.

"Unfortunately, this kind of extreme selection introduces many opportunities for bias to creep in. When we test a new idea in cosmology—indeed, in all of science—we work to make our conclusion as robust as possible. For example, if we were to change any of these filtering steps, from the selection of survey region to the threshold for deciding whether to include a galaxy in the analysis, our results should hold up or at least show a clear trend where the signal becomes stronger. But there isn’t enough information about such methodological checks in Shamir’s paper to make that judgment, which casts doubt on the validity of the conclusions."

Four mechs down (infosec.pub)

We played a game to brush up on the rules. 6000BV trying to stay in ca. 3025-3049.

He did not have time to prepare so went with four shooters-8A (all proxies) I went Battlemaster-1Gb, Black Knight-6b-KNT, Catapult-1C and my one stray into clan era with a Wraith-1.

Thanks to some seriously unlucky dice all four of his mech fell down thanks to one getting two crits in CT, two taking >20 damage and one missed kick. All failed pilot checks...

Never seen that before. Edit: we did play fast and loose since we were relearning rules and the LGS was closing soon.

If these kind of requests are not allowed I apologize.

I am looking for the name of a contemporary sci-fi TV show. American, English language. Its from between 2011 and 2016. Just one season as far as I know. The premise is that a matchmakers wife is "assumingly" kidnapped. Turns out he is the double (possible clone?) of an WW2 SS-officer, and are unknowing part of an larger world conspiracy. Trying to bring about the end if the world? I remember the last scene were one of the main antagonists (now blinded) are waiting in line to see a healer who was revealed in the show.

Edit: ChatGPT solved it.

In Norway are not blessed with many gamestores that actually carry BT stuff. Since we are not in the customs union ordering from other countries can often increase the price by quite a lot since we have to pay VAT on shipping and charge for custom clearance.

See that one local store have the Tactical Operation Books (Advanced Rules and Advanced units and equipment) but the image on the store are the fourth (Rules) and first printing (units). I am going there this sunday to see for myself, but are first printings still usable. See that the current ones are sixt printing for both.
