No lie — give me:

Leave it to beaver, Sesame Street, Live action Dora, Signing Time,

Not sure if it’s lust, but they have a special place in my awakening.

This is the lord’s work. 10/10.

Jeepers. These comments. I agree with you. I love Linux, but, unless you’re lucky enough to have perfect hardware, Linux is still a bit hard to use. Mac and Windows are heading that way too. Macs require a Mac, and new Windows PCs have hardware requirements as well. I’m on my third distro for one of my Linux PCs because of hardware issues. I love Linux, but sometimes it’s a pain.

Thanks for the info! I’ll start looking into this as well.

So I appreciate the pushback, but for those of us with the option, what should we choose? Amex? Discover? Bitcoin is non-viable.

I just want a solution, not another problem. I live in America, and we have WAY too many problems already.

I’m too tired from all the bullshit. I just want a solution, not another problem. I live in America, and we have WAY too many problems already.

Punished for success. It makes you realize that you need to set boundaries. Work will punish you for being a good employee, but that only lets you know how valuable you are — at this job or the next.

This is a tough one. I have an autistic child. I love that they’re curious, but sometimes, for all of our safety, I can’t explain why I need them to stop talking about a dangerous subject… for now.

Great. I love that you’re curious about bombs. We’re in line for security at the airport. I need you to be quiet now.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Agreed. For a server, Debian is awesome.

I have to agree. I love Linux. I’m using it for all of my servers and it works great. I recently tried to switch my daily use computer from Windows 10 to Linux, and it’s not gone well. I’m on my 5th install and third disto. I’ve been told it’s a hardware compatibility issue, but if I need to buy a new computer to run Linux, I’m in the same boat as switching to Windows 11.

If anyone is s curious, I work in that industry, and that is why it is so regulated. A lot of things have to go wrong for any single person’s mistake to matter. We test the heck out of aircraft. Some of these tests are absurd, but they’re meant to prove that the code still works even if the plane flies through the twilight zone.

This on really irks me as two people in my family are this way… but always wrong. It’s like having a conversation with an autocomplete engine that’s always wrong. If you just let me finish my sentence, this would go way faster.
