Same, but I've been on lemmy a little and the atmosphere seems great too.
Friend
Amazing work. Thank you.
For me it really is that bad, yes. I could stand to use it for a sum total of 30 seconds before I had to return to RIF. It felt like I was scrolling through Instagram or some other cancerous app like twitter.
Yup a lot of good has come of this.
Yep hostile is the perfect way to describe Reddit.
The "old" saying "don't feed the troll" has been forgotten by a big portion of the internauts.
I'm not sure they ever knew it in the first place!
But never mind now, we're here and we can finally relax.
It's a slow process but I'm doing my best to post articles and microblogs and encourage people to engage with the magazine I created. But at least I'm having fun doing it!
Personally I'm not here for a slick interface and lightning fast performance. Those things can be fixed. I'm here for the community -- that's something Reddit doesn't have, and can never be fixed.

Looking forward to seeing you in our little corner of kbin!
Currently reading Kafka on the Shore by Murakami.
I used to use RIF and very occasionally desktop via a search engine.
Kbin just because I love the interface and I love the idea of having both articles and microblogs!
