Because the battery is less stressed when it is in percentages near 50% than if it is in percentages near 100% or 0% AFAIK.

I don't see a reason why Google should start supporting sponsorblock if even newpipe didn't go that further to support it from ethical reasons.

Point is Huawei still gets to sell their hardware device so there is no loss to them, it just opens up additional options for users.

Isn't this a loss for any manufacturer that fills their ROM with crap, ads, trackers, and their own ecosystem stuff?

The revenue doesn't come only from the hardware.

I use ChatGPT for these kinds of questions nowaday. I didn't have a clue how linux cmd prompt worked at the start, but was able to install wi-fi adapter drivers, and do various other stuff and even remembered some of the commands. But yes. Some things are bigger hassle in linux, depending on distro you use. With Linux mint creating a desktop icon was a piece of cake, but with Ubuntu... Oh my.
