This isn't decades later it's a few years. And they brought back both the lead character and lead villain. The crew I understand it's a few years most have probably found other sets to work on but foggy and Karen are also stars of that show and no one is going to think that the original series isn't canon. They made daredevil the character he is today just as much as the guy who plays Matt, who's name escapes me at this very moment.

Yeah they are still officially canon. I understand if they play less of a role as it becomes more of an extended universe and they have to focus on daredevil and other main characters, but to completely snub them is fucked up. Doubly so if they recast them.
