I just brought the shield up as a point of reference to describe what I'm referring to. However, in the videos and posts I've seen for the chip I have, they all seem to have some portion of solder touching the shield.

Absolutely, I just forgot to mention it. I'm using Chipquik flux. Last attempt I made before having to wrap things up for the time being, I believe I had my iron set to 400° Celsius.

The metal shield maybe? There's probably a word for it but I mean the bit the white arrow is pointing. The board in this picture isn't the same board, but I'm not able to grab a picture of the board in question at the moment. I can reply with a picture of the board & solder once I'm able to grab one. I am using flux, I just hadn't mentioned it. I did try heating it up with a hot air gun since I have a two in one rework station but that didn't seem to do the trick. I'm guessing I wasn't applying sufficient heat for long enough.

I'm trying to solder on the flex cable for a PicoFly. I've added some solder to the bottom two points that are touching the metal surrounding the CPU. However, I seem to only be making a bigger and bigger ball of solder when trying to melt it. I've upped the temperature on my iron but that doesn't seem to be doing anything. What am I doing wrong?

TIL. I had no idea they offered a lifetime sub and didn't think a service like theirs would offer that type of thing.

That's what I thought but just wanted to be sure. I've not used it before so I wasn't sure if it were similar to a seedbox.

They were also a thought. How exactly does RD work? Do they simply provide access to premium downloads through a given file host or do they store the files?

Anyone here subscribe to 1ficher who could share their experience with them? I've been considering subscribing to them for a while now. I've seen countless files that have remained available on 1fichier where other hosts had removed them. I feel like they could be my go to file host to download from when available if they're worth giving money to.

Yup, Firefox was a thought but I wasn't sure if extensions were a thing on Android. I do use FoxyProxy on my desktop so it would come in handy if it'd work on my phone too.

Perfect, thanks!

Is there any way I can use a proxy on Android on a per app basis instead of system wide? Just like for some who don't want absolutely everything to be routed through a VPN, some VPNs offer the option to include/exclude applications. That's exactly what I'd like to do, just with a proxy on my phone.

If those robots were provided by Elon, they probably have more bugs than Tesla's FSD.

Why are Republicans acting like they collectively have half of a braincell? They helped a rapist who still has zero political experience after an entire term get back in office, yet they draw the line at Gaetz? 💀 I guess (not really) good on them..possibly, maybe?

Is there any way to get around the Mii selection screen on MK8 on the Android version of Yuzu?
