I've visited there exactly once, and you're right - it was crazy. I never went back and never plan to go back unless this backward state comes to it's senses.

My list of reasons to never visit Idaho just keeps getting longer and longer.

ACLU and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

You make perfect sense, and I'm inclined to agree with you. I think an argument can be made that the internet, for all it's positive aspects, has made our society worse in a lot of ways. I would love to go back, even though I know it's not possible.

I believe someone else used the term 'sealioning'. It fits, in your case. This is why I don't see any point in having a debate with you. Waste your time with someone else.

Never a waste of time to speak truth.

I see no need to do this.

I would argue that morality came before religion or spirituality, and therefore does not require either of them to exist.

I'm thinking either Finland or Norway. But the only way I could ever emigrate to either of those countries would be as an asylum seeker. I don't make enough money, nor do I have any skills they want. I've got plenty of skills...just not any that are in 'high demand'.

One doesn't do the right thing to be rewarded or to 'get ahead'. One does the right thing because it's the right thing to do. Selfishness only leads to insecurity and loneliness.

This reminds me of the extremely-low-budget-and-really-dated-but-still-hilarious film, 'The Gamers'. One of the players can't make it to the session, and so in all of the live-action scenes, you see this character just standing still and staring off into space while the rest of the group is fighting, etc. =)
