I'm the reverse: I would always do a manual Arch install, with Archinstall too, but when it came around to getting my new computer, I settled with EndeavourOS. Archinstall is great at the basics, but I would say it's still for people who are happy to set up a full Arch install on their own as some things like firewalls do not get set up out of the box, and sometimes you just want stuff picked and set up for you and that's just as okay, whether you're a beginner or advanced. So long as they're not asking for support on the Arch forums, it doesn't matter all too much.

Windows Defender is actually pretty good to the point where I wouldn't even put another anti-virus besides, maybe Malwarebytes. Some shops will still try to upsell McAfee to you though. :|
