Add version auto-copying too, please!! That'd be great.

I think you may have shot yourself in the foot here; I had no idea of the African importing, and you didn't provide any sources, so I looked it up and found: https://www.ilent.nl/binaries/ilt/documenten/leefomgeving-en-wonen/stoffen-en-producten/chemische-stoffen-en-mengsels/rapporten/used-vehicles-exported-to-africa/Used+vehicles+exported+to+Africa.pdf

It says:

Over 80% of the used vehicles currently exported to West African countries will soon no longer be acceptable due to stricter environmental regulations of the recipient countries in West Africa. They are too old and do not comply with the minimum emission standard of Euro 4/IV.

There you have it: eventually no more ICEs, based on your own data...

Planes' longevity, while interesting, is ultimately fallacious from what I can tell, unless you have some sort of heat pump idea for them (which would probably be... much harder than implementing in a car, no?).

By the way, if it matters, I'm not against making things more efficient or reducing waste. I love the idea! It just seems like you would be better off applying this train of thought to EVs or something.

I'd be curious to see if any fast-food workers here could chip in and describe the process; do they even track that level of detail?

when his store was shutdown a few years ago for a major remodel he kept his entire workforce on payroll and paid them their regular hourly pay for every hour they volunteered within the community.

Wow, I've never heard of such a generous owner before. That is really incredible.

tens of minutes

But I suck at using cast-iron cookware.

And then what would happen with your invention-that'd-take-years-to-make-and-market once ICE cars get replaced by electric in 2 decades?

So wear many different hats. Got it.

Well, there need to be more such subjects to write about. Be my guest...

I'm part of programming.dev and I feel like starting a /c/volumeeating (to mirror /r/volumeeating wouldn't really make sense there, haha.

I've had no ISP-provided Internet access since Feb. 2023 or so and, while it's been a pain at times, I still haven't caved into returning to the evil monopoly that is Spectrum, so far, and probably won't for as long as I can't land a remote job. ~~ArrowDL, while not perfect, has been pretty good at download management for the most part in conjunction with mobile data-hotspotting.~~ Update: I'm now using AB Download Manager to mitigate download cancellations at the throttled speed.

When it comes to screenshooting ("screenshotting?"), I've never seen any tool even as remotely as capable as Summit; I think Thunder had some sort of system that builds it, but Summit appears to actually calculate the screen coordinates of content that displays on your device.

I never actually thought to press the button until now when I just tried it out of curiosity. Unbelievable!

For example, can FileAppend() be set to create something like %COMPUTERNAME%test.txt? I have no idea of what the code for this would be like, if so.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

I thought it was totally absent, which is why I went to ToolsCustomize and looked for it, but once I found where it would normally be put, it was apparently already checked! Yet I don't see it... I have no idea of what to do.

And no, it's not in the drop-down arrow by the "U," which is only more customization of the underline.

I thought in other word processors you could simply right-click them and find a "delete" button, but there seems to be no such thing in LO Writer. Does anyone have any leads? Much appreciated!

That would be awesome, if so!

The notifications are redirecting even Old Reddit users to WWW... not a good sign...

Does anyone recommend it instead?

It's getting kind of annoying to keep seeing... and I don't know where else this should be posted or how to reach the instance's team, FWIW.
