Well, it's about economics, not hurting ordinary russians. Doing business in russia gives them money, which helps them pay for the war. It's as simple as that.

If you're european it's a clear breach of GDPR. Photos of people are generally considered personal data

also it's kinda mandatory if you have a recent cpu, to utilize the p-core/e-core architecture.

Why would they? When you choose a platform to sink multiple years of effort into, you look for stability, for example the stability of not having a history of trying to rugpull their customers.
