Reminds me of this glorious way of dealing with a similar problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qc0aaY-3qY

That's pretty much canon anyways

does not mean that they should still provide you the service.

I never said that, in fact I mentioned their right to try to stop me.

Also I never implied any entitlement to their services, just that if it's there in the open, I will access it, my way.

please if you argue with me, argue with me, not a strawman of my approximate likeness.

Right?
I have the right to use any subset of what they put on the public web, and they have the right to try to stop me.

Serving ads is not a right, sure you might argue it's fair they get something back, I get that, but access to my eyeballs is not a right.

I will be on board when they lower their prices, until then, game on.

have you seen their prices?

[–] FiskFisk33@startrek.website 6 points 2 years ago

[–] FiskFisk33@startrek.website 4 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You sure didn't, but surprisingly loudly so.

[–] FiskFisk33@startrek.website 7 points 2 years ago

that doesn't mean the problem is exclusive to them

What I mean is, Einsteins existence doesn't have to make me lose respect for other physicists. You don't have to be one of the absolute legendary best to achieve something valuable.
