hah, yeah, they're a pretty good example of the fediverse working well. I knew what they were and joined a server that blocks them.

I've been feeling a bit done with reddit for a while now. This is the first time I see such a viable alternative! I really think if things like this pick up traction the internet will get better for once.
I hade once finished a plate of, amongst other things, meat, when my cat comes up and DEMANDS to partake in the meal. I shrug, suit yourself, and give him the last piece of broccoli. To my suprise, he greedily gulped it in an instant. His face went from greed to horror, looked up to me as if I've insulted his very being. For days after that he kept giving me that death stare that only cats can really pull off.

I saw a lot of people saying they used bots to rewrite their entire post history to things like "fuck /u/spez"
I'm thinking that amount of comment editing might be quite the spike on the servers.

Really good! there is some work (or learning) to be done on making links work more painlessly, but on the whole, I really hope this takes off!
