Plenty of tutorials out there, you can have a google for one that you like. It's pretty simple though, just download a .iso of the distro you want to try, and then flash it to a thumb drive using, I'd suggest, Rufus. Balena Etcher is another good option.

I believe couch co-op is comimg for console, although apparently the devs are having some trouble with it on xbox

I believe you need emby premium to use the live TV feature, but I'm not 100% on that

Oh man I have found myself in the exact same boat recently. While I still love Halo, since getting a PS3 in the last year I'm continually impressed with the general maturity level of the system. The system software, the games themselves, having a bluray drive in 2007, it was arguably the better console. Hard to convince pubescent me of that though.
I think it's a little buffer to make sure the actual blocks on the disk exist and line up with the partition start, but definitely don't quote me on that
I'm pretty happy with Jerboa on Android, although as a long time Boost fan I'm excited see their app for lemmy release
