It’s a fair concern imo, when I sim raced competitively I never played on a different sim because of what you described.

Looking at it these days though I find the ability to be able to adapt much more important. Plus you get to try new sims while improving your adaptability.

If you’re doing track days IRL then the adaptability is one of the biggest positives you can have as well.

Honestly it doesn’t matter what sim it is switching from one to another always takes an adjustment period for me.

I can hop in most any sim and be competitive but it takes a bit of time to dial in the last 10% or so to be at whatever my peak is for the respective sim.

There we go: 1:33.160 --> 1:32.529 --> 1:31.662

I’ll have to try to improve this coming weekend!

Edit - After giving it another go real quick I really noticed how stiff the car is. It’s so stiff that throughout many corners one of the front tires either doesn’t touch the ground or it skips across the tarmac.

While that is manageable, it’s quite difficult to get the trail braking just right. Due to the stiffness and low contact patch you end up easily locking a front tire trying to eek out that last bit of turn in. Usually I'm quite good at braking but I'm still locking up a bit multiple times a lap.

There's definitely another second or so left on the table for myself before I start having to get sweaty lmao. It’s a tricky car to drive fast for sure!

You’ve never actually used them properly then.

Memmy is easily my favorite out of all the apps.
