I watched some of the nasa livestream since I don’t have eyewear in a ~96% area, and it’s total overcast anyway. They basically said it’s a ~~CME (or flare?)~~ edit: “solar prominence”, and not surprising due to the sun being near the most active phase of its 11-year cycle.
Pretty cool that one made such a clear appearance. If you search for solar flare, you’ll see images of that similar arch visible in the photo. Must have been amazing to see one with the naked eye.

No they do. They care about scratching their donors’ backs, then telling rubes it’s for them, which they eat up despite not actually seeing any benefit. They also care about wrecking the deficit so they can screech about it the moment they lose power.
I’m almost 40 and just got my first laptop for work recently. I find myself creating and editing documents on my desktop and only using the laptop to view them and to make some minor corrections while away from the desktop. I could do that more comfortably with a tablet tbh.
It does help if the laptop has touchscreen though. I hate trackpads and will never get used to them.
