The justification given was incoherent.

What components did they replace with the original work? Did they just replace the bumper cover?

If you were charged for a new tail lamp/light assembly in the previous work, then this is on them. If they only pulled the original tail lamp as part of other work, and reinstalled the original tail lamp, then the tail lamp was probably cracked in the collision. That damage would be easy to miss and can take a long time to become apparant. It sounds to me like this component was not replaced in the original work and you are only now discovering damage that was sustained in the collision.

A log turning tool?

12x $0.40= $4.80 That matches/slightly exceeds prices I've been seeing.

Your arithmetic is off by a factor of 2.

We'll come back to this later.

Nicely done. I recommend keeping some two part epoxy on hand for projects like this. Epoxies tend to be much stronger than any single part adhesives.

Most vehicles can be a submersible. The trick is in having systems to bring them back up again.

You are more likely to die from a bus crash. Highways are way more deadly per mile than airlines.

The last time the US had a commercial airline crash with high fatalities was 16 yrs ago. While this crash is appalling, it is irrational to avoid air travel in favor of highway miles.

Have you tried cleaning out your phone port? A plastic flosspick works well. If there's lint in the bottom it can keep the plug from seating properly and acts like you describe.

I have had plenty of cables fail though so I don't think you're crazy.

It would be pretty easy to require accepting a screenshare with a button press on the target screen. So I don't think trolling other people's displays is the main concern.

If anyone else is confused like I was, this is an adaptation of a line from "Better Call Saul."

While there's nothing wrong with having an oversized cpu cooler, you could definitely drop down to the 280 if you wanted to try to go for a more compact build. You will have a lot of empty space in that case.
