I think the MN state flag redesign is going poorly. My arguments below:
-
All iconography relating to the Northern half of the state was nixed because it didn't represent the whole state, however soybeans made with patterned tiles is somehow allowed.
-
Minnesotas are horny for loons, it's cringe.
-
What looks like the favorite (F29), is dogshit. I call it, 'Starflake on Navy Bedsheet', it gives New Mexico of the North. The snowflake will look bad in 10 years when climate change starts causing undeniable destruction. A memorial to our hubris and denial of reality.

The unofficial flag, Lee Herolds North Star flag, should have been updated and adopted. The problem with that is Duluth already went with that idea, but at the same time having cohesive themed state and city flags would make sense.
I feel ashamed. I just saw a headline from the Hill, 'GOP favored to win senate, democrats are jobbers'. I read the article, each paragraph outlining a different senator and how they might suck shit in the next year. Why do I care? The four they mentioned are all fuckers anyway. No shit four worthless Senators and Biden might lose. They've done nothing but claim they are the horcruxes of democracy and Trump is out to destroy them. Meanwhile most of us are experiencing a national decline.
