It's at http://127.0.0.1:5001/. It's my sex box, though. And her name is Sony.

This is why I only confess my crimes to my local LLM.

Oh, there's a competition? I'm curious what the high score will be.

Do you want to attract Galactus? Because that's how you attract Galactus!

What could we possibly learn from this, other than brand new ways to fuck up our environment?

We could learn brand new ways to fix up our environment.

we should try fixing the things that are actually causing it

You may have noticed, we're trying that already and it's not working particularly well. Your proposal, then, is to not try anything new but instead just keep on trying the thing we know isn't working?

No, this is ridiculous.

The left are luddites and the right are climate change deniers.

Yet another area where I find myself going "well, at least maybe there's China?" They've got the right combination of skin in the game, economic/technological capability, and a government that can simply ignore all these ridiculous moral panics and mass idiocies.

It's really sad that that seems like our best bet. I really don't want to be anywhere near a position that seems like "yay, authoritarians."

And therefore we should not do anything that could help us learn about this?

Yeah, this is one of the few areas where Reddit does a better job than the Fediverse, IMO.

Looks like he already drew you in, though. Catch-22.
