It's okay comrade, at least you managed to (hopefully) compromise one of them to a permanent end

There were people hanging onto the outside of planes until they fell to their deaths and there was 0 mention of them a week later. Just a video that showed up online and maybe cable news (no idea I don't watch tv news) and instantly memory holed

It infuriates me when you see Westerners laughing at pictures of Soviet, DPRK, and other soldiers that wear the whole medal and implying that most of them are vanity awards and participation trophies. Meanwhile American troops wear stacks of participation trophies and "congrats on not getting 5 DUIs" medals, but they only show a slice of ribbon so it's classy and badass. Some dude played soldier for 30 years ends up looking like he fought from Moscow to Berlin singlehandedly

Yea, where I am we've gotten almost no snow and aside from a week of -40 it's been hovering right around freezing, so everything just gets nice and icy. I love walking when it's snowing so I made a conscious decision to go for a walk when it was snowing because I don't know when I'll get the chance again. It's February and I can't see any snow aside from a few patches clinging to the north sides of buildings.

Summer is going to be an unprecedented fire season that makes last year look like a backyard campfire. That cold snap without a nice think snow layer is bound to have killed a bunch of trees and the dry, hot summer is going to turn entire forests into kindling.

You might be thinking of the villain in The Green Hornet, his name was Chudnofsky and he renamed himself Bloodnofsky to sound scarier

I know it's a joke but people need to leave the people of North Sentinel Island alone. Ffs the diseases we carry alone would devastate them

There's more than a few parallels between 40k and real life at the moment. Space Marine GeneSeed recovery and IOF Cummandos, the US military forgetting how to produce vital components/materials, being ruled by ancient beings hovering between life and death, we have a calamity almost beyond our comprehension bearing down on us and those in charge deny its existence, claims it's exaggerated, or just ignores it completely (climate change/Tyranids/necrons)

Americans don't have the determination needed to yamagami , they all want instant gratification. They can't go through the montage of putting together the-doohickey so they just do a mass shooting against a soft target instead
