Reminds me of when Condoleezza Rice said invading a sovereign nation is a war crime. The audacity of these people
FALGSConaut
The Great War with Indy Neidell. He's doing a the same thing for WW2 but I've been less interested in it. His WW1 series is fantastic though
If you're like me and don't like Dead Money it also makes it a lot more enjoyable if you go with an explosives build and that perk that lets you make energy ammo into discount plasma grenades. You get plenty of 'em in that dlc plus you don't have to worry about the ghost dudes getting back up, it's great
I also got really good at arcing the grenade launches, it's fun using them almost like a mortar
oh yea I'm aware of how deadly cold water can be. I agree all those dudes were probably going to die anyway if their ship sunk, it just sounded like something you'd say if you just don't want someone dwelling on that fact
OpenTTD sounds neat, I'll have to check that out. But I also love the modeling part, I've always loved building little things like that so I might just focus my energies on a small switching layout. I'd love to be able to do continuous running but that'll have to be in the future
They probably would have all been smooth-bore so aiming was more of a suggestion beyond point-blank range. That being said I think you're right about the assumption these are mostly ornamental, they were probably the old timey equivalent of mall ninja shit except with better craftsmenship
I loved my wooden trains when I was a kid, I think my parents still have them for when the grand kids come around. I remember staring wistfully through Thomas the Tank Engine catalogues at the cool playsets like the crane and locomotive shed. Then I graduated to Lego trains, those I still have in a box in my closet. Now I'm dreaming of having the space for an HO layout, I picked up a bunch of track, a couple locomotives, and some rolling stock at a thrift store a year ago since I couldn't let a find like that pass me by. Maybe once I have more time this summer I'll put together a small shelf switching layout, though I'll have to find a smaller locomotive and maybe some shorter rolling stock to make it work
That sounds like something an officer makes up to convince dudes that can't swim not to worry about it
I was a lazy kid and would ask my parents for a ride to my friend's house across town and their response was always along the lines of "you have legs don't you? Walk or ride your bike!". I always walked to school across town in the other direction unless it was raining hard or really cold (colder than -20°C). I was allowed to roam wherever I wanted so long as I told them I was going out. I can't imagine growing up with the kind of helicopter parents some people have. I had one acquaintance who had parents like that, the kid that insisted on driving them around for Halloween, and I always thought that was bizarre behavior.
My parents had the attitude that if a hundred years ago kids could work full days in factories then we could easily handle the responsibility of a little freedom and I'm thankful everyday for that
I don't know a word of Arabic but I understand him completely
The present aircraft designated with this task, a modified Boeing 767-338ER
oh please let another Boeing moment happen
I love cottage industry logistics, what an efficient way of doing things
