That's exactly my stance too, tbh. I used to be extremely extroverted 10+ years back. I'd hit bars and just meet some really cool people. I'm a friendly drinker- sometimes a bit to oversharing, but better than angry. I'd talk to anyone with no fear and made a lot of great friends and acquaintances that way.

Now I probably drink once every couple months because I live by my sister and she has a big back lot with a fire pit. She has to literally pull my teeth to get me out, though. They probably party every other week and even that is just too much for me.

I'd much rather have a quiet day booting up modded Minecraft and playing with my gf on local lan, writing my book, or cuddling up with dinner and watching a movie.

Wait. What if I'm a millennial that doesn't want to leave my house and spends all day consuming garbage content? I won't go so far as to say brainrot, but it's not really benefiting me in any way.

Though I will say I do like a good IPA but am not limited to IPA.

Now THAT'S trickle down economics.

I love btop, too, though I tried out gotop and it was actually pretty slick.

Then there's my love, Midnight Commander, but Yazi, Ranger, and Superfile are all great alternatives. TUI file managers are the best compromise between the dangerous sudo rm and the sometimes overbearing GUI file managers.

I use GUI and CLI evenly and TUI really hits that sweet spot for me.

CLI this, GUI that. Where are my TUI degens?

I did read this somewhere before. I just have to take my chances at the moment. My other option was Windscribe, but unless you're paying for a year+ their prices are astronomical.

I love Mullvad, but if you need P2P its not the best option. If you just need a VPN, though, its amazing. Today I just switched to AirVPN and am running it on Arch through Eddie. Have my qbittorrent set up to only allow connections through Eddie and just forwarded my first port. I'm very happy with it.

I think the only downside is that I could get Mullvad for 5eur a month on a month by month basis. AirVPN is 7eur or 15eur for three months, so I have to lock into the three months to get the same price.

Maybe not butt farts, but butter for sure.

I have no idea where we received this stigma and I am appalled. You can falsely accuse me of anything, ANYTHING, except microwaving tea. I will not let that stand.

I gotta find me one of those. Mine was a gift from my mother and I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth in this economy. It's a bit of a pain, but I'm good with my hands and even better with pulling apart tech. It's a pain, but not impossible to clean.

Bonus is that you can buy third party roller replacements for a third of the price of the head unit. At least third party markets are still allowed for the time being.

I was just thinking about this the other day after removing the fifteenth torx screw from the bottom of my Shark vacuum's roller head. They hid screws under the pipe hatch and the two tiny friction mounted front wheels. Vacuums are triple the price and rollers are no longer removable from the outside.

45 minutes to fix what is essentially a five minute problem. They'd rather you throw it away and buy the whole head unit from the site. They even have bars blocking you from cutting hair from the roller without opening it.

Shit like this is why I still use an iPod 5th gen. No internet. No tracking apps. Just you and your hard copied music on a device that can be opened, repaired, and modded.
