I made my own anchor points with some mason line, a broken DVD case and double sided tape been going on for 4 years now. Think there's adhesive cable clips too that comes with several for cheap so you don't have to go through my dumb idea just prepare the area by cleaning it with alcohol first

With that in mind, it really just comes down to if the original gets destroyed, for a lack of better words, before that moment even happens in order for it not to be considered just a copy.

Edit: this honestly kinda helped me understand the problem more I really appreciate it.

Not sure if its what you're talking about but I really like the Ship of Theseus thought experiment, if an object is the same object after having had all of its original components replaced. Always makes me think of if an exact clone of you is created (same thoughts, memories, etc...) should that be considered you?

Agree with everything except about the dgpu. Personally ran into problems due to kernel compatibility with the proprietary drivers that are no longer being maintained with older models like the NVIDIA NVS 5400M on a thinkpad t430 and had to switch to nouveau. Its fine for what I use it for but does have screen tearing on external monitors so a beginner might get frustrated and since the display I/O is often using the dgpu you can't use integrated graphics. So yeah not everything will be seamless for OP if they do have a dgpu

Honestly I'm not really worried it was used for melting lead since its really shallow and clearly had burnt on grease but 10$ for tests will give me peace of mind.

None that I can think since 3m discontinued theirs. Just gonna check on what has good reviews for a decent price online. It'll probably be one of those swabbing ones that turn red

Found a cast iron griddle for 4$ at goodwill. I'm stripping it with easyoff and gonna order some lead tests on Monday. No branding whatsoever sadly but very decent shape so not complaining

Hello there

Besides ublock origin like the other posted stated your biggest scam threats would be coming from social media websites, Facebook or meta whatever its called and email being the biggest. Since I assume you can't monitor her 24/7 and she's an active user, setting up some kind of DNS solution and firewall on your network, you managing her passwords and 2fa via hardware, setting up a non admin local account for windows and maybe some kind of easy reference material like pictures with text in a booklet should be used also. Assuming she's still sound of mind

Edit: as for the phone portion of the question it really depends on how much media do you want her exposed to? You can make a pretty dumb phone via grapheneos and install the games she plays normally (network access restricted of course) with automatic updates. But if she uses social media, messaging apps and other apps like that maybe an iPhone would be easier and simpler for her. At that point you will have to rely on your network solutions, you managing her account credentials, bank included, and the reference material to protect her from scams

Can't recall an app like that but I'm willing to bet you can get a digital watch to do that
