Als Bürgerin und Steuerzahlerin möchte ich nicht, dass meine sensiblen Daten mit den Tools einer Firma verwaltet werden, die gerade in jüngster Zeit wieder ins Gerede dadurch kam, dass sie weder auf ihre Master Keys (https://www.heise.de/news/Neue-Erkenntnisse-Microsofts-Cloud-Luecken-viel-groesser-als-angenommen-9224640.html) noch auf 38 TB interne Daten von Mitarbeitern (https://www.heise.de/news/Datenleck-Microsofts-KI-Team-stellt-38-Terabyte-ins-Netz-9309303.html) aufpassen kann... Und auch wenn das mit dem Master Key auch anderswo passieren kann, war die Kommunikation hierzu unter aller Kanone. Sicherheit und gar Privatsphäre hat bei MS noch nie eine große Rolle gespielt und der Kunde ist am Ende der Dumme...

Danke. So schlimm war es bei mir nicht mit 38,5 Grad. Dafür hat sich mein Körper lange Zeit gelassen mit der Abwehr. Erst am 4. Elendstag kam das Fieber. Das ging bei mir auch schon mal schneller... Wenn man alleine ist, ist sowas natürlich nochmal übler. Vor allem am Wochenende. Das erinnert mich daran, auch meine Hausapotheke wieder zu bestücken mit dem Nötigsten... Dir auch noch gute Besserung!
Mit Fieber im Bett. Lange keinen grippalen Infekt mehr gehabt, von daher darf ich mich glücklich schätzen. Und heute geht es immerhin aufwärts ☺️👍

I also thought about getting a Fossil Hybrid as it's supported by Gadgetbridge. I'd miss sleep tracking though and I'm still too much of a Pebble fan to let go. I have 3 PTS in good condition and one ugly scratched PTS with mushy buttons for parts. Have been eyeing a PTR but I too would be annoyed by having to charge it every 2 days so I think I'll refrain from that. I'm not really good at repairing things but if one of my PTS fails I'll at least try to replace the broken part.
I had the same problem. I was fed up with my Amazfit GTS 3 and pairing a Mi band 6 wasn't possible when I tried. For now it made me turn back to my trusty Pebble Time Steel (left wrist) and an oldish Mi band 3 (right wrist) which I intended to put on eBay but fortunately never did. Gadgetbridge is connected to both simultaneously. With the Pebble I can even mark tasks (in LoopHabit) as done and have as many reminders as I want. The Mi is only there for pulse tracking. I'm happy with this combination but I can of course understand that not everybody would like this as one has to charge two devices. Edit: the Mi 3 was the last device without encrypted server side pairing if I remember that correct.

Exactly. The developer might open the source according to some reports in the past.
The developer of Connect said they might release it as FOSS app one day. That'll be the day I reinstall it. For now I'm using Jerboa.
Linux oder ein BSD. Mit LiMux war man jedenfalls in München auf einem guten Weg.
