I know about it but I don't think a program aimed at teenagers would stop Myanmar genocide...

What about Elon? I'm sure he's just a poor boy from a poor family Galileo Galileo Figaro.
I'm definitely old enough to remember it, I just never used it. But maybe you're right. I remember the early youtube, before google took it over and yeah, it was very different. I'm just not sure if it turned in what it is today because evil corporations monetized it or because people are just stupid assholes. Probably little bit of column A, a little bit of column B.
government bodies being incompetent at protecting the victims, then.
My guess is that it's just more difficult to control prostitution than it is to control construction work. Construction happens in the open, you need to get tons of permits, multiple companies are involved, inspectors check everything regularly. It would be difficult to force some people to work on a construction site without anyone realizing. But how are you going to make sure that each sexual intercourse in some strip bar is 'legal'? Are you going to put inspectors in bathroom stalls? How can you check every cash transaction? It's pretty much impossible. You can monitor the sex work that's advertised and happening 'in the open' but there will always be some grey and black market for it. And the ugly stuff will happen there.
So Israel was monitoring everything happening in Gaza in the name of national security. There was no privacy there. How did it work out for them?
Meh. Other than shutting it down I don't think there's much Meta could do to help teens. The entire model of posting up your fake life online for everyone to see is bad, with or without beauty filters or notifications. Sounds like he objected to some empty initiatives that were more about PR than actually helping anyone.
Ok, changed to 'dupa.8'. Thanks.
Can someone check if my password is there? It's 'dupa.7'. Thanks.
It clearly says 'industrial' robot. You shouldn't be anywhere near operating industrial robots. I'm pretty sure this guy simply broke safety rules. All the robots working close to humans are purposefully designed in a way that limits their strength. If this company was doing something else they it was simply doing it wrong. This is not what 'AI robots' are about.
And I'm not saying that AI robots replacing people are a good thing when done right. Just that this is not it.
What? The post says 'thwarted initiatives meant to improve the well-being of teens'. You're jumping out with Myanmar and I'm the one moving goalposts? Delusional much?
