I see a pattern here...

I don't think any of this matters. It's the customers that are not happy. Raise the prices of food to include the extra costs. Waiters in nice restaurants would obviously make more than minimum wage. Waiter in not so nice places probably as well. If waiters make more money because they're avoiding taxes then that ends, sorry. I don't think any one will argue that the only way to have restaurants is to let waiters avoid taxes.

Infinity Wars was stupid. Have some super heroes run around fighting bad guys trying to destroy the world for some stupid reason. There was no pick. It's all stupid.

No, raise the wage and make tipping optional. Simply move from 'tipping is part of their wage, they need it because they make below minimum wage' to 'tipping is a reward for good service'. You can leave it but they will not starve without it.

Set the minimum wage for waiters same as for other professions?

Are you sure? Last time I've checked adding Network Extension entitlement required joining apple developer program which costs $99 per year. It doesn't say this explicitly in any of the docs but it does say you need a certificate and to get a certificate you have to join Apple Developer Program. So you have to pay $99 to install an app you're developing on your own phone.

And how will you share an app with other people without signing it? I have no idea. Looking at the link you shared the free membership doesn't include any form of app distribution. I think to install any app on iOS it has to be signed and to get a certificate you need to paid membership. Without paying the only thing you can do is to run some apps on your own phone. And from what you saying even this is difficult because you have to sing it every week.

Honestly I don't get the entire concept of spending tracking apps. I believe in the end it just a hobby that some obsessive personality types enjoy with no real value behind it. Saving money is super easy: don't buy things you don't need. What I do is I make a meal plan for the week and only buy things needed to prepare them. I buy basic ingredients like vegetables, rice, chicken, eggs. If I need thinks like shampoo, detergent and stuff I compare the prices in the store and get the cheaper option. How would following all my expenses help me save any meaningful amount of money? For me you either don't care about money and just buy everything you like or you simply make sure you don't buy things you don't need. Why would you need an app for that?

And going back to your example, I can cover all this with really simple spreadsheet. Monthly expenses: mortgage, car, spotify, netflix, insurance, VPS, bills, food... Why would I need an app for that? I think there could be some use in an app that specifically tracks entertainment subscriptions. I could have centralized info about current prices and free periods so you would just have to tell it when you signed up and for what plan and it could tell you when the next payment will be and what it will be. Still not very useful but IMHO way more useful than an app that tells you what's your mortgage.

While I agree that mortgage is a monthly payment I highly doubt anyone would forget they signed up for it wouldn't know they are paying it. Same with insurance. Bank app handles regular payments. This is more about the small charges that are hard to track.

Very meh. I first episodes that followed the books more closely were pretty good but later they just remove all the good bits and what's left is just not that interesting.

Cool but this is still just installation, right? The app will still have to be signed by apple? I will still have to pay Apple to build and sign the app? That's the difference between android and iOS. On android you pay to put the app on play store. On iOS you pay to sign the app even if you're developing locally. And yes, not all apps require signing but some do. You have to pay apple just to build the app and put it on your own phone.
