Depends on the company I guess. But yeah, people would probably just laugh at me for being careless.

I once pushed a git commit with youtube link as the commit message. Nothing terrible, some completely random video. Still, it looked really weird in the commit history. Turns out you can edit this if you have access to the server and I did have access to the server.

One time in the same company I found a random youtube link in the middle of a java class. Yes, it was still compiling. No I didn't commit it.

It's better than nothing if you're bleeding out. It's not better than nothing if you're allergic to band-aids.

I use it less and less. I was still using wired headphones quite often when I got my current phone couple years ago but since then I switched to BT in like 95% of cases. The remaining 5% is mostly travelling. Noise cancelling headphones are too big to carry and small BT headphones don't have enough battery for a long trip. In a couple of years when I'll be changing my phone it will still be be really nice to have mini jack in it but if there's no reasonable option I might do without.

Only a sensor-filled helmet? Amazing. So much better then the previous model which required removing the brain the cutting it into thin slices.

I've seen a lot of those lately. At least in Polish media it was a very popular topic recently. Of course still nothing is being done to address. Then again, what are you going to do? In the end it's really men doing it to themselves. How are you going to change what men think about what 'being a men' means?

It think it's a bit too soon to joke about that.

I think we all know what's the only foolproof solution here is: anal probe. It would be integrated into driver's seat and make a measurement every couple minutes. Yes, I know, it could be defeated by sitting on sober person's lap while you drive but I don't actually think it's a big security issue. If you have someone who can sit in driver's seat the whole trip they can probably also drive. Also it would be very uncomfortable for everyone and very easy to spot by police. Any other solution is stupid and wouldn't work. It's so obvious I don't think it even merits a serious discussion. Anal probe is the only way: it doesn't depend on some shitty AI face recognition BS that will fail randomly or won't work at all for some people, you can't cheat it by having someone else start your car, you can't cheat it by having the passenger blow into something or give his blood sample and it's compatible with every driver

I'm thinking about moving to Korea. Not forever but for a year or two. Learn the language, get to know the culture, disconnect for a bit and come back to EU. How's the IT job market there? Is it doable?

All the 'nice apartments' he's showing are from beginning of XX century. No one builds like this in Europe anymore. Most new developments are exactly like the ones he shows in America.

How am I supposed to know it's the same guy? I call BS.
